Couch to 5k (week 6)
Couch to 5k, or C25K is the most popular running programme out there. It has been followed by thousands and thousands of people all over the world since its introduction in 1996. The philosophy behind the idea is that running does not need to be painful and time-consuming: it can be rewarding and the 5K training program will deliver results that you, the participant, can really see.

The premise behind the 5K training program is simple: to introduce you to regular jogging sessions that do not push you so hard that you get injured, or put off exercise for ever. The 5k training program is based on nine weeks of gradual progress that will help you transform from couch potato to a person who is confident running 5K. It takes you through the process at a pace that you can cope with and, unlike so many training programs, it doesn’t leave you feeling exhausted at the end of each session. In fact, the 5K training program could be called a walking and jogging program, as it allows you to vary the pace to suit your fitness levels.

A 30 minute class designed to loosen and stretch your muscles and re-energise your body and mind. Regardless of whether you are starting your fitness journey, carrying an injury or have terrific fitness this is the perfect way to finish the week and prepare for a new one. A perfect class for beginners who haven’t done Yoga before.

BURN will be delivered by myself and Chelle and mixes both of our skills and teaching styles.

BURN will incorporate Punching, kicking, cardio and condition – the ultimate workout.

There will be punching and kicking drills and HIIT style cardio and conditioning sections.

This will be a small group training session so very different to a normal fitness class, this will be more along the lines of personal training and really getting to work with you.

Boxercise
Boxercise is a circuits class which largely incorporates boxing stations, using equipment such as the focus pads, boxing gloves, skipping ropes and other more general exercises found in a good circuit class. Boxercise, the best stress buster around, is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today.
