What is Boxercise®?

Boxercise® is an intervals & combinations class which largely incorporates boxing stations, using equipment such as the Focus Pads, Punch Bag, Skipping Ropes and other more general exercises found in a good circuit class.

Looking for an intense workout to really get rid of those excess pounds and fire your body up like never before? Fight your way to a better body and punch away those stresses of everyday life!

Boxercise® is a boxing-style workout utilising punches, cardio work, abdominal exercises and a whole body approach to give you a fun and varied workout. Punches are thrown to focus pads which absorb the impact, meaning it is non-contact so involves no black eyes!

What can Boxercise® do for you?

The workout uses the entire body. Cardiovascularly you burn more calories in an hour than using a stair-climber.

Boxercise® combines use of both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in a manner that not only ensures a diverse workout, but also enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing.

Boxercise® classes are always fun, energetic and addictive. Correct technique takes practice and good instruction.
