Who is Lindsey Allen?

With more than 11 years’ experience as a Gym Manager, Personal Trainer and Studio Instructor, award winning instructor Lindsey Allen arrived in Bromsgrove from a successful career at BBC Fitness Centres in London and has now worked at the award winning Ryland Centre since January 2013.

Lindsey offers a variety of classes including high energy, fat-burning and body conditioning.

Lindsey says “I am passionate about promoting the physical and psychological benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle, and committed to making exercise accessible to everyone, regardless of their fitness level or goals. My classes are designed to be a welcoming and nurturing place for people to exercise and take time out, in a bid to support a healthy work life balance.

Hour of Power

The most exciting & dynamic full body workout on the UK fitness scene. This unique class utilises dumbbells aiming to help people bring into balance their upper and lower body capacities to achieve a true total body fitness. You’ll love this incredibly addictive, proven effective and certainly the most fun workout you’ll get in one hour!


Boxercise® is an intervals/circuits class which largely incorporates boxing 7 kickboxing combinations, using equipment such as the Focus Pads, Strike Shields, Skipping Ropes and other more general exercises found in a good circuit class.

Pump fx

Utilising barbells, pump provides a progressive, complete body workout to the latest greatest in chart & club anthems. Traditional resistance training exercises such as squats, lunges, presses & rows with an emphasis on intensity & technique, this interval based workout targets individual muscle groups to improve body composition.

Freestyle Fitness Yoga

FFY is a new yoga; an exciting yoga; a yoga for everyone. We have created a journey by extending our minds, flexing perceptions and twisting the traditional view of yoga. Every lesson taught is a lesson learned., every posture passive or aggressive has a purpose. We put why into what we do, we unite modern practice with the power of traditional principles. We love yoga, our passion revealed in our professional approach.
